La Charcuteria by Erlum

There is a tiny spot in downtown Querétaro where you can get the most amazing Mexican petit déjeuner.

La charcutería is Erlum’s own petite shop. Erlum is farm-to-table restaurant located a few blocks away from this beautiful place.

Every ingredient they use is grown and bought locally, and since the demand of fresh and homemade product grew so much, they decided to open their own shop.

Aside from the food you can eat at one of their 3 tables, you can also take jams, marmalades and all kinds of preserves home.

They don’t really have fixed products, since they work with whatever is available in the season. I didn’t get to try the cured meats and sausages they had, but I can tell you I saw lots of people coming in and asking specifically for them during my short time in the shop.

It’s always good to have a go-to option for breakfast, a place where you know you will always get something good and fast, and this Charcuterie might just become mine.
